This gluten free no bake dirt cake is easy to make, kid friendly, and the perfect make-ahead dessert. Serve it with gummy worms and a trowel for a cute presentation that everyone will love.
clean flower pot, straw, silk flower, and trowel, if desired (for decoration)
Instructions
In a large bowl, beat together butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth. In another bowl, mix vanilla pudding mix, cold milk, and whipped cream (or Cool Whip), beating until smooth and thickened. Fold together the two mixtures into one bowl and set aside.
Grind cookies in food processor (or in a large ziptop bag using a rolling pin).
Layer the ingredients in the flower pot (or a 9 by 13-inch baking dish), beginning and ending with the cookie crumbs. Cover and refrigerate dessert overnight.
When ready to serve, add gummy worms to the top, as well as an artificial flower (poke a straw through the dessert and then insert flower stem into the straw--see above pictures for guidance), if desired. Serve with a clean, never-before-used trowel, if desired.
Notes
*The new gluten free Oreo's do not use purity protocol oats, so choose these at your own risk if you're extremely sensitive. I am extremely sensitive and can be sick for days with just one single crumb of gluten, and I've been able to enjoy the new gf Oreo's with no problems (in case this helps in your decision).
