Good morning, ya'll!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July and are enjoying a long weekend or at least a normal weekend after a short week 🙂

Happy weekend after the Fourth of July!! For my American friends out there, I hope you all had a fabulous Fourth of July, celebrating the birth of our nation. There is absolutely nothing wrong with loving the country you're in and I LOVE our country.
I've always been very patriotic, growing up in a military town, and now that my son is heading into the military, I will be even MORE patriotic than I've ever been. As a mother, it brings me such pride knowing that my son chose to be a part of those who defend our nation.
So, what did everyone do for Fourth of July? You know what we did? Absolutely NOTHING!!!! We usually get together at my mom and dad's house because they have a pool, but I told my mom that I was "dinnered" out from all the recent dinners we've been making (Father's Day, Bre's birthday, etc) so I didn't want to make dinner yet again for the Fourth. It's basically just my mom and I who make all the dinners these days (both of my sisters don't live here) and sometimes it's nice to have a break from the responsibility.
So about noon on the Fourth I went over to my mom and dad's and went swimming and relaxed. Then Bre and Jimmy came over and brought us lunch from one of our favorite local places, Taste (Taste Unlimited for all the original fans). It was more like what I call "linner" because it was about 3:30 when we ate (linner is lunch/dinner).
Then we all went swimming again and were in the pool for probably another 2 hours, just talking and relaxing on noodles. It was great!! When I got home, Scott and I binged another several episodes of Game of Thrones. We're on season 7 now!!

Homemade Gluten Free Bagels -- like no gluten free bagel you've ever had! I've had all the ones on the market and they don't compare to the chew you get from making your own.

I've never had Steamed Bao Buns, but they look interesting and I'll be trying to make them gluten free soon!
Sheet Pan Pancakes just might work with my grandma's pancake recipe. It'd definitely save time at the stove!
