Good morning ya’ll! Happy sweet Saturday: 09/14/19! It’s finally beginning to feel like fall around here, so I can now start sharing some fall recipes.

I can’t start acting like it’s fall when it’s about 90 degrees out, so I’ve been in summer mode, even with my food. But yesterday it was in the 70’s so I guess there’s no fighting the inevitable. If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em, so if I can’t keep fall from coming, I may as well enjoy it, huh?
It’s not that I don’t like fall. I actually rather enjoy it. But I know what’s coming after that. Winter is Coming (hey all you Game of Thrones fans😉), haha!! I am NOT winter’s biggest fan. But I DO love one thing about winter and that’s Christmas! Then right after Christmas we can jump into spring if I had my way 😀
WHAT I’M LOVING THIS WEEK
Spicy Melting Potatoes??? Oh my!! I’ve never had melting potatoes, but these spicy ones seem like a great place to start.
Lidl always has great prices on frozen scallops, perfect for making these Seared Scallops with Garlic Basil Butter.
Since it’s cooler, I need to make these Pumpkin Sugar Cookies. Yum!!
Cheddar Cheese Quick Bread sounds like it’s easy to make and delicious to eat!!
This Pear and Gorgonzola Salad is a nice twist for a fall salad.
